It seemed super simple to buy the digital code for a Playstation gift card for my brothers birthday. It took a couple hours until the code was sent. I was panicking thinking I paid for the gift card, but wouldn’t receive the code. Thank goodness it finally worked and my brother is very happy with his new game. Thank you.

Received the code within 10 minutes and then right after went to enter code on my PlayStation account. Said code was already redeemed.. I tried few times and I even made sure I entered code correctly.. I have bought digital codes before with no issues. Not this time. I contacted PlayStation. Sent proof of purchase of code. Gave PlayStation account Info. Customer service even said he seen where the code didn’t go to my Account and seen it went to another account in a different state. Waited the few days. Got a email from Sony stating my verification of purchase wasn’t validated. And they denied to refund me. They told me to reach out to place of purchase. Which is Amazon.. still waiting to hear back from them. This is first time this has ever happened .I don’t understand how this could happen. So disappointed

This is quick. The purchase goes through as soon as it is bought…then you are sent the code by mail. Heck this is more convenient than cash. Purchases can be a bit ‘red tape’ on the PlayStation Store. This Amazon gift card is a perfect-no-hassle transaction. It is even better than using the credit card on the PS store since there is no verification etc..

Sometimes when I have extra on my card left to spend each time I get paid I usually will buy a gift card for my PlayStation. I do that and stack them so I can save it for a game that I want. I find it easier to order a code online than going to a store. You get the code and just redeem it on the PlayStation site, PlayStation app and even on the console.
