Unbelievably the easiest remote control I’ve ever paired and set up. Literally I popped the batteries into the remote and pushed 1 button! That’s it.If I had only known how easy this was, it would have owned by long before now.Great remote, so easy to use, it’s fast, and feels like it’s made with quality materials. If you’ve never owned a magic remote…I promise it’ll be the last remote control you will ever need. Unless of course you lose it, lol

They work well for awhile. The power button stops working after a few months but tis not OEM quality so…

Works real well. My Samsung TV is a 2016, so the “Prime”, “Hulu”, and “Netflix” buttons don’t work. I’m using a cable box for TV & cable channels. This remote does not work with it. But, otherwise it works well.

Unlike spending hundred dollar to by the original brand, this should be the best low budget remote that works great on the Samsung Smart TV. The only downside is the build quality isn’t that great, it sometimes generates the squeeze sound while clicking on the button.

I broke my old one and purchased this one and I’ve had it for over a year and it still works great! Great value for the money All I did was put the batteries in and it worked, So simple! I would definitely recommend.

These do not have voice capability. Other than that, they are as good as the original remote. They worked right out of the box. No set up needed.

Our old remote was quite used and the labels had worn off the buttons, etc. ordered these replacements and it worked perfectly without any fumbling around to get it synced. Happy with the purchase and can now see the labels for the buttons.

We have a rental home and it seems the remotes often take a walk. This two pack is perfect, sync easily with all our smart TVs and the price is great. I would highly recommend.

I don’t typically take the time to post reviews but I had to come here to say i was shocked at how efficiently and quickly this remote worked with my Samsung! The shortcuts buttons worked as well. Our stock remote did not have those so it’s a nice perk. For the price you can’t go wrong especially for a 2 pack!

Update: I am giving up on this thing. It doesn’t work most of the time. It opens nothing and says it can’t recognize my voice or gives some other excuse for doing nothing, or it simply does nothing. Initially, it worked sometimes with alot of fussing, now pretty much not at all. I am returning it and lowering the stars to 1. BTW, this is not an LG remote as I had supposed from the ad, but some sort of knock off……….Original reviewThis remote control is a huge disappointment. I got this for a woman who is losing her sight. She needs something simple with the ability to voice control her very large smart TV. This is not it. It is very complicated and works sporadically. It pretty much requires the ability to be able to see the screen. Even with normal eyesight, I can’t see the print in the little side panel this huge TV brings up on an internet search. It is very hard to point the curser at the TV and hold it steady enough to actually click on anything you want to open, either in the TV settings or online. Trying to use this remote to search the internet is really impractical, and I had to switch to my phone to get information. I still have not been able to figure out how to get this remote to do the simple task of changing the channels. While there are numbers on the remote, but they are for presets, which would be another big chore to figure out how to set. It won’t switch to say, channel three if you say channel 3 into the remote for example. If you ask for CNN, it will open that. (Actually not, it turns out. Doesn’t work most of the time.) If you ask for a particular movie, it usually brings up several to chose from, usually not the one I asked for, and will not open them. If this remote works, it has a huge learning curve to get it to do anything, which is not what I wanted for an elderly tec phobic woman. The voice control takes commands work maybe half the time. Sometimes the screen just goes dark. There is a big lag between when one pushes the microphone, and when there is a beep to indicate it is recording. It frequently responds that it cannot find any information the first few times one asks it a simple question or to do a simple task.Unfortunately, this is the only way to use the voice control features on the LG internet TV. It has no built in mic. So far after several long sessions of using this remote, it appears less practical than a regular remote even for someone with normal sight. However, to a sighted person wants to open things on the internet to play on the TV, this might be marginally more practical than bringing up the internal keyboard and scrolling through the alphabet one letter at a time, apparently the only other option.I am shocked that LG can’t do something better. Don’t they make phones? How can they not make a voice remote that works better than this to connect to their own TV? I wish someone had been able to test this feature before buying this TV. (The magic remote does not come with the TV.) I have not yet decided whether to return this expensive remote. It does have some limited utility, which is why I gave it 2 stars rather than 1. (Actually, I have changed my mind. This remote does not work at all most of the time to do anything at all. See update. I am returning it.)

my Samsung remote on the left and this new one on the right. All the buttons are exactly the same. I threw in some batteries and it automatically worked, no having to link it to your TV. It also worked with another smaller Samsung they I have that had a different type of remote. I am very very happy with this. Just note it does not come with batteries

I needed to get replacement remotes for the TV. These were extremely affordable and work just fine. Much cheaper than getting the brand name. I only needed to add the batteries and it worked no programming needed.

Just received these remotes today. They immediately paired to both my Samsung TVs but the shortcut buttons for Netflix/Prime/Hulu don’t do anything. The red light flashes on the tv so I know it’s receiving a signal but nothing happens. Behind the battery lid it has pairing instructions. Tried pushing the two buttons for 3 sec as instructed but again nothing happens. It’s honestly not that big a deal but just would be nice if they worked.

This gets rid of all the clutter on the standard remote. It’s easier to use for most actions and I haven’t had to dig the old one out yet. Like the three preset buttons on this model. It linked up with the TV without a hitch. It does tend to get lost more often because it is so slim.

I was so mad when my son lost my remote and I saw a replacement is almost 100$ from Samsung. How do you lose a remote for more than a few minutes?!?! Where the heck is it?!?!I reluctantly ordered this knowing Amazon is the Walmart of the internet and you frequently get junk that doesn’t work or the sales description is misleading.No instructions came with it…. It turns out you don’t need them…. If you can put AA batteries in it, it just works…. Two remotes came super cheap…. If they don’t last, I dont really care…I couldn’t be happier that it just worked right out of the box and I didn’t have to try to make it work for hours. Most things like this are sold as easy to use but are normally far from it.

Visiting my mom— who knows where the original remote is, I have kids including a toddler who may have tossed it in the trash. Shipping was easy/quick. I looked on the back of the tv for the model number and found this compatible replacement. I did not have to program it at all just added batteries, turn it on and start changing channels. I enjoy they also give you an extra one. I believe this remote is also an upgrade.Instead of saying we still cant find it after a week the replacement came in less than 24 hours! Moms happy no complaints!

These are not like the original but they do work. I sought to marry them to my TV but that wasn’t necessary they worked right out of the box.On these remotes you have to long press and hold for a moment then it follows the command. This is true when turning on the TV or when calling up menu. The hardest thing to do at times is turning on the TV, so often I will use my fire remote to do that.I especially like the button that calls up the settings, my original remote didn’t have this. I do believe these remotes will last as well as the original they seem to be made like the original remote.

The remote controls work great. They are the same size as my old remote .All the buttons at the bottom for Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime all work.I love the ergonomic design of this. The curvy design is superior to the flat Samsung remote.I’m still using my old remote though, because I prefer the smoother plastic and I prefer the RF (radio frequency) over the IIR (infrared) function of the original Samsung remote. With RF, I can use the remote from the bathroom, without having to point it directly at the TV. From what I’m reading though, it’s normal for TV remotes to use IR.The only other thing that’s missing is the voice button. But my Samsung voice button doesn’t work with my Google Chromecast anyway, so I’m not missing that.I’m impressed that it’s possible to replace the original Samsung remote with two very good remotes at such a low cost. And that they aren’t universal remotes that have to be programmed. I love that they’re already programmed for my television. Definitely recommend.

I purchased two of them for others at home that failed to work properly. Be careful not to drop it, as the case spills open and the batteries fall out. One of the remote failed after just one drop.

It seems like a good product, it’s easy to use, I didn’t have to do any type of configuration with my television, the material doesn’t feel very robust, it’s light, it feels like it could break if dropped, but so far I haven’t had No type of inconvenience, it is recommended to use it with a cover
