The VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro 2-in-1 kit is an extremely versatile tool that combines multiple testing and troubleshooting equipment into one. It includes a multimeter, test light, flash light, signal tracker and power probe. The tool performed so well coming with long cables, allowing for work to be done far away from the car battery. It also includes a long extension cable with cigarette lighter adapter, providing solid power and ground anywhere around the vehicle. The power probe can reliably test fuses and relays among many other components, and it also has A/C testing capabilities with graphing. It can test diodes voltage bias and has a removable tip that accepts any banana clip lead. Additionally, it has a rudimentary oscilloscope function for testing electronically controlled parts. The circuit breaker finder tool has signal tracking capabilities and a long flexible probe for tight areas. However, it is worth mentioning that the signal tracking is only able to locate open circuits and not short to ground. Despite this limitation, the tool offers great value for its price and is a useful addition for both professional automotive diagnosticians and DIY enthusiasts. It comes in a solid case for easy storage and transportation, and VDIAGTOOL provides excellent customer service.

Pretty easy to use and does all the basic functions of a power probe. Case could be a little bigger, and the tip design will wear out quickly, but for the money it’s definitely a decent tool to have.

When I was made aware of this tester, I wanted it yesterday. I ordered it on March 1st and it came on March 6th, which is really fast. Usually it takes 2 weeks to reach Hawaii. I have around 26 testers and just a handful is shown in one of these pictures. I still have my first tester which I made with a metal rod, light bulb, wire, and an alligator clip. These testers have sure come a long way since 1975 when I lst began working on cars. I have a Auto mechanics college degree and owned 170 cars since driving. Now days cars have a lot of electrical circuits and this tester is vital to have and own along with a good scanner, and a smoke detector for the EVAP system. I got this Vdiag Pro 200 tester and just by coincedence my neighbor’s cars had starting and electrical issues. One I found a bad ground, one was a dying battery, one had a faulty starter, and my own truck had an exposed hot wire has you can see in one of the pictures. I was actually looking to see the tool in tight spaces like between the radiator support and grill when I saw this exposed wire. I tested it with this tool and it was hot. Using the tester I pushed the button and it lit up my auxillary fog lights. The tester fit well with my hand holding it inbetween the grill and radiator support.. The accuracy is really good as I have tripled checked it with other name brand testers you will recognize in the photos. I have a boat, riding mower, motorcycles, and 5 cars that I have tried this tester on. The quality of the tools is very good. The connectors are tight and the probing needle fits snugly. The fit is really good so while taking the wire from the front of the car to the back of the boat trailer, you can count on the connector holding and not coming apart like a extension cord usually does and you have to make a over under knott. Everything this company claims this tester can do is true. I even showed this to my mechanic friends and they were impressed. All of us use the P Probe and my P Probe III is in one of the photos. I have the P Probe from I to III and have no regrets. Now that I have this Vdiag Pro 200, it will be my go to tool. Before I had to carry a wire tracer seperately and was either the telephone one you see in the picture or my landscaping one for tracing sprinkler wires to trace my truck, car, and boat wiring. Now I have the best of both worlds in one easy to carry and store plastic case. I really have nothing bad to say. The screen is easy to see in bright sunlight, enough wire to reach from the front of the tow vehicle to the rear of the boat trailer. Built with quality materials, easy to use. The most important thing is it is highly accurate as you can see in one of the photos the other two tester I compared it with. Do not hesitate to buy this tester! Your life will be more enjoyable when working on electrical circuits especially if you work on cars, boats, motorcycles, your kids powerwheels, and even your home. Just make sure you turn off the power to your home when tracing your outlet to your fuse box. Not made to test live 120v or 240v AC home circuits. Only DC voltage from 12 to 24 volts DC. You will not be disappointed, I have been using this tester for a week now and it is accurate which is the most important feature for me and it is half the cost of other testers with more features. This tester is made for 12v DC to 24v DC so you can even test some of your power tool batteries that is within range.

VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro Automotive Power Circuit Probe TesterI recently purchased the VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro Automotive Power Circuit Probe Tester, and it exceeded my expectations. This tester is a must-have, if you’re like me, and cringe when you walk into the mechanic’s shop. This tool is specifically designed for automotive electrical diagnostics and proved to be a valuable addition to my toolkit. The test modes are selected by pressing the red button on the circuit tester.(Voltage testing DC, AC, Resistance and Diode)The toggle switch, on the power cord, selects between the multi tester and the wire tracing breaker tester. The center position turns off the Multi tester unit. One of the standout features of the VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro is its ability to accurately detect open and short circuits in 12V and 24V electrical systems. You can inject positive, or negative battery voltage, into circuits. This capability proved to be extremely useful when troubleshooting complex wiring issues in vehicles. The tool’s wire tracing functionality also helped me identify and locate specific wires with ease. The AC and DC voltage testing capabilities of this tool are also worth mentioning. You can check the ripple of your alternator. It also displays the max and min voltages, along with the frequency of the ripple. It accurately measures voltage levels, allowing for quick and reliable diagnosis of electrical problems. Additionally, the VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro can be used to test trailer relays and fuses, making it a versatile tool for automotive technicians. It can also test resistance in the circuit and even test diodes. The build quality of the VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro is solid. It feels sturdy and durable, ensuring that it can withstand the demands of regular use in a workshop environment. It also has a (Built-In) auto reset circuit breaker for overload protection. The ergonomic design and intuitive interface make it easy to operate, even for those new to automotive diagnostics. One aspect that could be improved is the user manual. While it provides basic instructions, a more comprehensive guide would be beneficial, especially for users who are not familiar with automotive electrical diagnostics.Pros:1) Comes with a sturdy storage case which protects components from damage.2) Built-In auto reset circuit breaker, for overload protection3) Has lights built in to illuminate your work area4) Has a long extension cord5) Has dual power options (Cigarette lighter or Batt. Terminals)6) Multi function testing and wire tracing7) Great customer serviceCons:1)Instruction manual, not very informativeTo sum things up, I really enjoyed using this diagnostic tool. The VDIAGTOOL V200 Pro Automotive Power Circuit Probe Tester is a reliable and efficient tool for diagnosing electrical issues in vehicles. Its open and short circuit detection, wire tracing, and voltage testing capabilities make it a valuable asset for automotive technicians, or DIYers. Despite the minor drawback of the user manual, I highly recommend this tool for anyone in need of a reliable and versatile automotive power circuit probe tester.

So if you or your buddy have read a diagnostic code on your automotive scan tool and think you’re done, you couldn’t be more wrong. Mechanics have to trace and diagnose what the root cause of an issue is. A scan tool is just pointing you in the general direction. Without proper diagnoses to get to the actual problem, many home mechanics waste time and money just removing and replacing parts only hoping to fix the problem.I have used several tools in the past to do this such as a multimeter, test lights and other made for this project gadgets ti get the job done. I have seen power probe tools in the past but often they were expensive or limited in application which kept me from getting one.I bought and tried this tool and I’m very happy with it. The kit comes in a storage box which is helpful to keep it all together. The kit seems to be well built with good solid connectors that look like they’ll work for more than a few uses. The probe itself has built in led lights facing the tip which come in handy in those dark spaces (often nighttime use and under the dash while twisted like a pretzel). The operating buttons are easy to get to. The TFT display is bright and clear, easy to read. There is also a speaker to give you tones to tell you what’s going on, in case stuff drops in your eyes (always happens). You have two options to connect to the battery in your vehicle which is a must. You have the standard large clips or a cigarette lighter plug. The cord for the probe itself is plenty long, but if you’re connected to the battery of your rig and need to get to the back or your trailer there is an additional 20ft extension cord in the box. Also in the kit which is rare in these days is an instruction manual to explain how to use the multiple functions. It is actually very good, easy to read in English and has several figures/diagrams for those who are sometimes challenged like myself.I have used the tool on a few different project vehicles around the house. I found it to be super helpful with making sure I have continuity, powering circuits after rewiring a rats nest, and finding broken connections in harnesses. I am very happy that I bought this kit, it will save me time and the amount of tools that I have to lug around when working on jobs. The price is great, the warranty is amazing and I would recommend buying it to all of my friends. Have a great day and happy wrenching
