Box states these are made in the USA which is very important with all the other junk floating around these days. These were used as replacement rear bearings in my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0. A bit of a pain to remove the old since you have to drain the differential, pull the axle etc. so I decided to do both sides instead of just the one side that was bad. I put these in freezer and heated up the axle housing and the bearings pressed in pretty smoothly. Back in action with no noise or problems just don’t forget a new lip seal if your application calls for it.

Don’t buy these unless you’re putting in new axles at the same time. The bearings must be made out of harder metals than the axle because when I pulled my axle out it was extremely pitted. They make a “repair” bearing that sits in a different spot on the axle that also comes with a new seal built into it. They’re a little more expensive than buying this bearing and a seal, but unless you know for sure that your axles aren’t damaged or you have brand new ones ready to go, then you will at lease want to have those on hand as a backup, or you’ll be doing the job twice. Using the repair bearing isn’t going to make any difference if you’re axle is bad or not.I’m sure these are great quality. Like the other review states, these are made by Koyo in the USA. My wife’s 2009 Ford Crown Victoria had a bearing noise coming from the rear. I found it was coming from the right rear wheel area so I ordered up two bearings, two Timken seals, and a cover gasket. I bought new fluid and rented the puller adapter from the parts store. I finally got a day off where I could get this done, I had my car in for an alignment so I took my wife to work and went home to do this job. I get it all apart and pull the axle and it’s completely pitted where the axle rides on the bearing.None of the parts stores within walking distance to me had any in stock. I was pretty much stuck. So I had to put it all back together again and put my new fluid and gasket in and ordered two TRP1563TAV.
