My pontoon boat suddenly stopped starting, so I bought this to diagnose the fuse and battery connections. Works extremely well, although I would recommend you get one that makes a beep as well as lights up – if you work in direct sunlight you will be unable to see the light.

It felt like it would break if I handled it roughly – but for what I needed to do and not wanting to spend a lot for tools/equipment I did not know how to use – this proved to be a good choice, because it served its purpose beautifully. P.S. it did not break, I still have it.

Well, I’ve torn the garage apart, looked through every toolbox, checked all the storage tubs, and I can’t find my old testers. I seldom need one, but I had two – and I can’t find either one. Oh, well… what will a new one cost? Well… not so much. And this one is way better than expected, and they included an extra bulb for those who forget what they’re doing and fry the one it came with!

If you wand a simple, no nonsense type of circuit tester then this is the one for you. Simple red light to show you have power or not. Great for testing fuses, electrical plugs and connections and power at point of use. I keep one in my tool box and also in my car emergency electrical repair kit. You could spend more, but why would you. This one is perfect

Works great, and very well built. The circuit tester has already come in handy a few times diagnosing projects. The clip feels sturdy, and the cord connecting to the main unit is also fairly thick. Overall it seems like a decent value. I would imagine it would last quite sometime if taken care of properly.

This test light is of decent quality. I have used it to trace 12 volt power by puncturing the wire insulation. It works great. The point is very sharp, so keep your fingers away from the point of testing. A protective sleeve is provided to cover the sharp probe point. It comes with a spare LED light also.

Well made product from end to end. Used it to easily map the 44 fuses on my car’s under dash fuse panel, showing whether a fuse is B+ (always active), ACC (active when key is in ACC position) or active when key is in ON position. Probe tip is sharp enough to test low profile fuses in place. LED makes handle glow brightly when 12V detected. Nothing cheap about it except price.

A very simple device and very easy to use. I need to find the correct pin-outs of my new car’s taillights, in order to connect a towing harness. This worked like a charm and is far easier than using a volt/ohm meter to trace the circuits. This was handy and was money, well spent. I needed to test fuses in my car while I figured out which ones were constant or switched fuses and this device made that process a breeze. Not only does the grounding clip hang on tight and refuse to let go, but the LED bulb is bright enough that I’m unable to miss it when I’m checking a fuse. There isn’t a ton of great things I can say other than it checks fuses great and I had no issues so I will leave it at that. If you’re looking for a fuse tester, this one works amazingly.

Needed a tester to troubleshoot an electrical issue in my car and this was excellent. Simple to use, nice sturdy clip with protective boot, bright LED and I like the coil spring cord. Stays short for ease of use but then can stretch really far if needed. Should be able to get anywhere from the front or back of the car.
