Jacob Esam Harsh –
I’ve bought this backpack twice now, and it’s a great backpack. It’s durable, big, and has charging ports and many pockets. However, the netted pockets inside of the backpack always rip, caused both pockets to become one big pocket. I don’t put heavy items in the pockets, just chargers and charger blocks, so it doesn’t rip, it just becomes undone. Secondly, the backpack never sits upright unless it’s leaning on the wall or something else.

I am so satisfied with my purchase of this backpack from Amazon. The amount of space this bag gives with different pockets and compartments is amazing. I use it for everything from school, to traveling day to day, to bring stuff to the gym, and more. Great, reliable, and has held up since I brought it. Way better than backpacks I’ve seen in stores. Comes in many different colors. Zippers are high quality. It holds many things and is comfortable to use day in and day out. If you need an awesome backpack for your buck look no further.

I wanted a medium-sized backpack for a trip, one with numerous pockets for putting away various items. This backpack was perfect. I could put quite a lot of stuff in it and keep items of different categories separate. There were plenty of zippers and pouches for everything. I love the 2 side pockets for water bottles. There is even a small pouch with a zipper the fits close to the back so is very secure- no pick pocketing allowed. It’s perfect for a passport, small amount of money, etc. I didn’t use it for my this backpack for my laptop this trip but the compartment was big enough for it for another trip where I usually need my laptop. The larger compartment was big enough to stuff a sweatshirt as well. It was perfect. Since then I’ve used it just for hiking and since it’s quite lightweight, it works great for that as well. The construction seems very solid and the zippers work great. I highly recommend this backpack for these types of needs. If I needed to carry a lot of heavy books, I’m not sure this backpack would have been the best choice- I think a heavier, more heavy-duty one would be better. But I wasn’t wanting a heavy backpack for books, so it was perfect for me. A heavy one would not have been good for hiking, etc. So if you’re wanting a light-weight but durable backpack, this is the one for you!

This backpack is solid, has many pockets and is spacious for a variety of activities. The color works great in many situations and is versatile. Overall a great buy and so far a good investment!

This backpack is great! Not only is it not super expensive, but it has all the pockets you need. Area to hold personal items, school work, and a dedicated laptop sleeve that holds up to a 14 inch laptop. The straps are comfortable and are easily adjustable. The quality is what you would expect, the zippers are great and the materials the backpack is made of feels high quality on the outside.I did find some fraying near one of the pockets and the material that lines the inside is not the best. But in the end this is a solid backpack if you’re on a budget.8.75/10Recommended.

I needed a functional carry-on as well as a decent bag of holding for running around town and this fits the bill perfectly. No complaints after two years of service.Lots of dividers, slips, slots, nooks, crannies, and folds for your art supplies, nerd tools, sleepover clothes, laptop, dungeon master stuff … whatever.I’m very pleased with the utility I get from this rather plain-looking, but otherwise tough and versatile backpack. It takes a lot of abuse without seeming to notice.

Note: I’m 30 and going back to school for a big career change, hence the backpack purchase. Value, comfort, and quality are the things I look for in products. This checked all the boxes, with the added benefit of being timelessly stylish.Favorite things about the bag:- Plenty of compartments, including a few for smaller items.- Smooth, wipeable material…I haven’t gotten it dirty yet but it looks easy enough to clean.- Cushy handle. That small detail makes it look and feel more premium than it is, and it is more comfortable to pick up.

I bought this backpack for a trip thinking that I wouldn’t use it much. It has the perfect pocket setup and a ton of space and quickly became my go-to. This backpack was carried daily while I was going to university and then after I finished, it was carried daily for my first year of teaching. It also was my daily backpack for a year of substitute teaching, as well as my go-to carry-on for travel and the perfect overnight bag.I took the photos today, after over 5 years of daily use and the thing looks brand new other than one broken zipper which is why I’m replacing it. When I saw that I hadn’t left a review for it, I decided I definitely should before I buy a new Matein backpack! It has really held up well and I appreciate how stain and rip resistant it was. If it wasn’t for the broken zipper, which was completely my fault, I would carry this backpack for another 5 years without even thinking about it. In fact, when I found out how long I’ve had it, I was surprised. This was one of my best buys: durable, looks professional, spacious, well organized, and reliable. I only wish Matein would bring back the sling bag they used to sell with it!

I love love love this bag! My husband and sister got one 2 years ago and they are still in awesome condition. They are in college and I’m a teacher. There’s tons of space for all you need to carry, the material is very durable. The straps are comfortable and this bag is so easy to carry around. I also like that there’s a luggage strap for traveling.

My daughter is in college and I ordered this book bag for her due to a good price. She is thrilled with all the compartments, size and quality! It has a special section for her computer, books, and several areas to store her things. It can charge her phone, and is very comfortable on her shoulders. It’s heavy duty and well made. I was surprised with the great quality for the low price!

It fit nicely under the seat, held a lot, and looked really good. It has a good number of compartments, seems good quality, and a lot of features (like being able to put it over the pull bars of my carry on suitcase). The only thing I didn’t like was that stowing the shoulder straps wasn’t easy (they still stuck out some), but the rest of it was good enough I’m rounding up to 5 stars.

Initially, I bought this for my sister for the school year. She did not realize that you are able to charge your phone. Her phone is always dead, so she loved it. If you have a battery pack, you can put it in the compartment to charge your phone. She likes the pockets and the design. Its simple, but works very well. I am going to buy one as well. She says she. rates this backpack 5 stars for its design, color variety, and price.

over the backpack is very good. this is my second backpack of this style. im a t10 paraplegic in a wheelchair. the many pockets make it nice for my neccesities and for extra things i want to carry for work. i really love the small pocket that hugs your back. great place to stash your money or important items because it makes it difficult to reach. if i had 1 complaint it would be the layout of the external/internet charging port. when i got the backpack it wasn’t even in its spot… it had fallen into the backpack. plus the cable is so thin, it wont fast charge. i just choose not to use it at all. no big deal

Pros:1. This laptop bag is great overall. Best thing about it is that it has lots of cushion so is very comfortable on your arms and back. I have used it all day walking and running around, and have not felt like it was a nuisance.2. I love all the pockets and zippers, especially the one in the back where I can store my personal/secret items like cash, credit cards, passport etc.3. It’s very spacious so I am able to take my work and personal laptop as well as some clothes and toiletries, and still don’t feel like it’s too heavy on my back.4. The fabric is very durable. I have used it pretty regularly since I bought it and I have not seen any scratches, tears or stains as of yet.5. Very affordable. Feels like a more expensive bag, definitely get much more than you pay for. I got the gray bag, and even with my business casual attire it looks good.Cons:1. I wish the laptop section of the bag could fully open. It makes it difficult to fish around for cables etcFor context, I travel a lot for my job. I have to travel with a laptop, 2 work phones, personal cell, mouse, mousepad, cables (for all devices), and many other trinkets I need for travel.2. I also wish the laptop sleeve was a bit less clunky and easier to store the laptop. I always have to put my laptop in with both hands (one hand guiding the laptop into the slot). You can tell it is a cheap afterthought but again, for the price it’s not too bad. Part of the reason I think is because of the back pocket which takes up some of the bottom space.3. A second sleeve for an iPad or second laptop would have been great. The sleeves feel smaller than what is advertised. For context I have a 13.6″ laptop and this bag is supposed to hold up to a 15″ laptop.4. The luggage strap is pretty slim. It takes some time to place it on the luggage, which when you’re rushing in the airport is annoyingly time consuming.Overall, for the price and quality, this bag deserves 5 stars. I have used other more expensive laptop bags and for how comfortable it is, that alone outweighs the cons I listed in my opinion.

I ordered this bag in August of 2020 as I was off to college for my Bachelor’s for an engineering degree. I took a chance with this being the first listed backpack on Amazon, but it looked really well made and the reviews were glowing. also watched YouTube reviews on the bag. It’s awesome! It fits a lot of things and it still looks good as new four years later. It’s held up in all sorts of weather and has kept my things dry inside. I went to school 10 minutes away from Lake Erie, so it’s held with wind, downpours, snowstorms, and sunny days.I’ve used it for both school and travel. I’ve had zero issues using it as my personal item on flights. It’s also really comfortable to carry. Although I did tend to sling it just over my right shoulder, so the padding on that strap is a bit flattened compared to the other strap, but I only notice it in appearance. When on my shoulders, the two straps feel the same (plus the straps are adjustable – I’m a petite girl and made it fit nicely with no issue). I love the handle on the top too! I’m about 5’0″ and 90lbs and would fill my bag with items so much that it’d typically be an extra 20lbs on me (yes, I genuinely weighed myself with the bag on vs off me and figured the difference lol)It can hold a ton of stuff. I carried my iPad Pro 12.9″ (sometimes in the laptop slot, unless I had my 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 laptop, 15.6″ display with me), a few Five Star notebooks, a class book if needed (although I stopped buying those after my first year lol), and my own book for casual reading just in the first slot alone. In the second main compartment, I carried my TI-84 Plus, a TI-30x, my writing supplies pouch, sometimes a bento box (or whatever other plastic food compartment) for lunch, and sometimes shoved a jacket and extra snacks in there. Used to carry workout supplies until I got a dedicated gym bag. I put necessities in the very last smaller pouch on the front. Even that pouch can fit a lot.I would say the maximum size item I put in my bag that prevented me from zipping it fully was a Strathmore 50-sheet 400 series 11″ x 14″ spiral-bound sketchbook in first main slot. I couldn’t fully zip the first slot with this, and if I did, I kind of bent the sides of the sketchbook slightly. I know I’m being ultra-specific with names of items, but I’m doing it to give you an idea of dimensions and what you can all fit.During college, I saw a handful of other people with this bag, specifically the grey and black color, which always made me laugh since it’s to be expected when it’s very highly rated on Amazon and shows up as one of the first couple listings for backpacks. My SINGULAR issue with this bag, which isn’t too much of an issue for me – the side pockets for holding a drink are not meant for large, tall, or otherwise heavy bottles. The times I’ve tried to take a Yeti water bottle I noticed the pocket was sagging with the bottle a little and struggling to hold it. I was worried that my Yeti would fall out so I’d have to put that zipped in my bag. I’m guessing it’s because it was such a heavy bottle. This issue has also happened with the tall Walmart alkaline water bottles. It does perfectly fine with a typical 500mL water bottle though, a plastic short BlenderBottle, a can of soda or energy drink, etc. Just nothing too heavy or too tall. This “issue” hasn’t stopped me from being happy with the bag though!TLDR; has held up through travelling (as a personal item on flights), four years of university, using it as a gym bag, all different types of weather and has kept my stuff protected and dry, can hold over 20lbs of items no problem, and still looks like I barely used it. also comfy to carry. Material is high quality and I haven’t had problems with my bag getting dirty either. Get this! This thing is going to last me so many more years. I love it.

I’ve treated my backpack pretty harshly since purchasing it in October 2018 (it is now June 2024) and it has held up very well. It’s gotten grungy after being dragged on a motorcycle or train 25 miles each way to work, not to mention on two European vacations and numerous weekend trips. The main compartment’s zipper fabric did pull away from the top of the bag a bit, but it was easily stitched up on a sewing machine. Now the zipper from the front compartment is starting to pull away from the fabric strip it’s attached to where I landed on it and dragged it a bit on the pavement during a motorcycle fall 18 months ago. It has hugely exceeded my expectations, it owes me nothing, and while I’m sure it would continue to function well enough I am buying another one with no regret.TO THOSE WHO SAY THE ZIPPERS LET STUFF FALL OUT: believe it or not, this is a feature, not a bug. The zippers slide very easily. If you fill the pack up and put the zippers at the 12 o’clock position, the contents of the bag will nudge the flap open, both zippers will gradually slide down on each side of the back as the flap opens more and more, and your stuff will fall out. To prevent this, close the zippers by putting them at the 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock positions and they will be perfectly secure. The zippers will not slide UP.

Well, before ordering this product I read scores of excellent reviews about it. Well, after receiving it, I could tell you for a fact that they are all correct. This thing has ton of storage, is made very well, excellent zippers, comfortable to carry, and just great in every respect. If you’re looking for a fabulous backpack, you can stop wasting your time and just order this one. You’ll be thrilled with it. It really is as good as everyone else is saying it is.

I really like this bag that I use on the go for flights and travel. I bought it a couple of months ago. Very spacious, lightweight, durable and plenty of pockets and very durable. The battery charger feature is really nice for a quick phone recharge if I can’t find a power outlet nearby.Highly recommended.

Great travel backpack for taking on a plane. Good padding and protection for my laptop and plenty of room for other items. The only negative was when I received it had a chemical odor that I had to leave it outside for a couple of days to air it out. The USB ports work and make it easy to hook up a battery pack on the inside.

My favorite backpack ever and it’s super cute. Not heavy at all, the only thing I don’t like is that the watterbottle holders on the side aren’t super huge so sometimes my hydroflask falls out, but beyond that I love this backpack and this brand. Super heavy duty and PERFECT for college. Has a space for my computer, all of my stuff, my pens and pencils, and more.

This is a fantastic backpack! I bought it to replace an Ogio I had for around 6 years, so I was nervous about this one at first. But I have to say, I think I like this one more than my old one. I love all the nice organizational pockets this has, and there’s even a slot in the laptop compartment that fits my charger and brick! I have an Alienware m17, and it fits perfectly in the padded laptop pocket. The backpack is made of what feels like a very durable canvas like material. The zippers are smooth, which is good and bad, especially on the laptop part, which could flop open if you’re not careful. The straps are comfy and the bonus “secret” pocket on the bottom of the bag is a nice bonus. In fact, there’s a few hidden pockets on this thing! This backpack would be fantastic for travelling, especially since it has loops you can put luggage locks on. I use it as an everyday bag for work, and it certainly serves me well. I highly recommend this backpack!

I have had this backpack for over two years and it still looks new. I am self-employed and work from home or a co-working office so I pack up my “office” into this backpack and take it with me every single day. This has a crazy amount of pockets and storage. Everything is easily accessible and nicely organized. My MacBook Air literally lives in this bag and has never been scratched or damaged. Comfortable straps with no signs of tearing or separating at the shoulder. My last backpack had the strap start to fall off in a year which is why I bought this one. At this rate it will last me 5+ years I’m sure. I’ve gone on at least a dozen flights with it and it is a great carryon/personal item.I have seen other people with this same backpack at airports and it definitely seems to be a popular choice. Even if it did get worn out in the future I for sure would buy it again.

Great backpack for a ridiculously low price. Lots of pockets, good construction, comfortable straps. It sells for $40 which is a great price but it often is on sale for 30% or 40% off the list price.

Originally got this backpack for my eldest son’s senior year and used it on a daily now second semester of freshman in college still in amazing shape. there are multiple sections to the bag letting you divide your stuff easier. I put 4 stars for security because trying to unzip and take it would not be a hard task. A definite 5 starts for commuting because it has a very comfortable back and keeps stuff in place well. Lastly, the only reason I put 4 stars on traveling is because it’s hard to store stuff since there are so many different slots most stuff doesn’t fit but would be a great carry-on. In conclusion, this backpack is great for school and carry-on coming in at a price that matches the quality perfectly.

Several pockets and compartments to store items, and well cushioned backpack. I love the quality as well, very well padded and easy to organize. I especially like amount of smaller to medium pockets on the front for my phone, and larger one for other necessities. The interior is amazingly spacious, I’m able to fit my laptop, iPad, binder, and 5 subject notebooks along with a large water bottle. I’m so pleased with this purchase, I purchased the 15.5 and have all this space, so I’m sure the larger one could fit even more items. The charging extension is a bonus, I haven’t used it yet, but love having the option with its own pocket to insert a battery pack. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve used this backpack for a semester so far and I’m very happy with it. I like the grey color and simple design. It is comfortable to wear and seems to be pretty good quality.I like this backpack because of the different compartments and pockets. I like to keep stuff separated and organized and this backpack is great for that. It fits my laptop, binder, notebook and miscellaneous stuff with room for more.I like that the backpack is not too big but still holds a lot. When it’s not packed too much it’s nice and flat and doesn’t stick out too much. I think if you wanted to you could fit a lot in there. There’s also a padded pocket on the back where you could put valuables or something which is pretty cool.

Pro: Lots of pockets to hold lots of stuff. I fit everything I neeed for work and extra things, too. For the size, it’s pretty light, too. It will fit a tablet and laptop, but there is no padded sleeve for the tablet. It is comfortable to carry even when full. I like the padded top grab handle a lot. It’s “hefty” feels secure when I use it. Great price.Con: The padding for laptop is not great. It works for my everyday commute needs, but for air travel, I would add an extra sleeve for my laptop. I wish it had a padded tablet sleeve, as well. This is really the only downside I can find.

This has been a great backpack for traveling! I use it as my personal item when travelling with a suitcase, and occasionally use it as my only bag when only flying somewhere for 1 or 2 nights. It always fits under the airplane seat in front of me. It fits a lot in it, it’s relatively comfortable (padded), all the zippers still work well, it fits my water bottle in the exterior pocket. I like the extra pockets to put different things in different places. I see someone with the same backpack almost every time I go to an airport.

Got this when I began attending university and so far love it. Lightweight with a great feel. Very affordable compared to other bags and brands. Like the gray color as a neutral bag. Definitely has a lot of space with its various pockets and fits almost everything I need for my day easily. Has a laptop compartment which is essential for students. So far it’s held up which is great as it doesn’t seem like I will need to replace it anytime soon.
