I’m no electrician (DIYer). Our home was built in 1996 and updated before we bought in 2019. We remodeled the basement as a full apt. complete with full kitchen, bath and laundry. I was able to find breaker overloads/Amperage of each circuit and whether they were connected to any circuits upstairs with these. Can’t fix the breaker Amperes (too expensive), but now I know which outlets can’t handle an overload (coffee pot, space heater, computer). Major appliances are fine.

Do not drop the transmitter. If your old one rattles just buy this one and your able to find the circuit. Unless there is back feeding most of the time this works very helpful when working alone.
