I love the way the laptop is so customizable. I can change almost anything on it. I deleted all Microsoft office apps because I use Google Which freed up some much needed space. The laptop came brand new and I enjoyed setup process. I am currently using this laptop with a cover on it to protect the color on it I’m looking to get a keyboard cover too. Thin and well finished. Typical excellent HP quality. 64 gig solid drive. Drives have gotten so big that 64 seems puny. Actually 64 gig is actually quite large for the average user. You can add space quire easily these days.I started with a TRS80 with 4 K of memory and! used audio cassets for storage. We have come a long way.

We bought these for school work. I’ve always loved HP and have bought several. However now you have to go through several steps to be able to get google on the HP laptops they are completely set up with Microsoft/edge only. A good bit of the school programs we have to use require google chrome and it was a bit of a task to get it downloaded during the setting up process. But other than this, these are very good durable laptops.

Arrived quickly, 2 days sooner than stated! Package well. Was going to wait to three weekend, but was feeling a little blue & bored so decided to set up. It took about 30 minutes total, which wasn’t long since I wasn’t doing anyting else. Three screen size is perfect, raised keys, and plenty of ports to connect my wireless mouse (My only issue is my issue – having long nails makes using the TouchPad difficult, hence needing a blue! Cord is long enough to plug up and reach a decent distance so you aren’t sitting on the wall when charging! I LOVE the white housing, looks sleek and now I don’t feel so blue!

It’s in just slow. No two ways about it. I am not a gamer, all I do is surf the web and sometimes order from Amazon. I can run 3 open windows, a fourth will freeze up. Probably needs more RAM but why should I have to add RAM to a new computer that I have had less than 90 days? Also short battery life, don’t plan to do any work from your lunch break!

The good: very affordable, simple to set up. Came with free mcaffee and windows 365. ( I bought subscriptions and cancelled them not knowing I needed them)The bad: stiff keys and a touchpad that is very slow to respond. It does what I need, I pay bills and keep track of everything with it. I definitely miss my PowerBook. It’s a lot slower than my old laptop.

Once you delete the apps you don’t need, then the computer runs great. I’m using for small business and school work it gets the job done. The key to this computer is removing S Mode and deleting things you aren’t going to use and it’s fine.For storage I just bought external memory and no issues what so ever.I’m glad I purchased this laptopVery happy!

The laptop saw my strong signal wifi network but wouldn’t join it. I tried the referred Microsoft tips and failed again. The laptop came with zero instructions and not even a model number. What is so complicated about building a computer that will turn on and work? Our phones work. The smart TVs and Kindle work. I refuse to pay a consultant to deal with a $300 computer just to start it working. Microsoft and Hewlitt Packard might devote a dollar or two from their AI effort to create a computer that works when you turn it on. Someone needs to address the customer need to buy a computer that works immediately. What is so complicated? Will return the laptop after one more try. I would have been better to buy a used laptop somewhere.

I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true. This computer is extremely slow . My daughter couldn’t use it for school work because she kept needing to reset it. It was a Christmas gift so I bought it early. My return window ended the following month. The looks of the computer where very nice. I figured this was a good brand. I was wrong. I did buy two of these laptops. I haven’t used mine yet so I will leave a review on it. I personally wouldn’t recommend buying this computer. It’s a $180 loss I have to take.

I bought this little laptop as a back up for work. Because it came with Office 365, 2 people can work at the same time or we can watch Netflix while working when we are not busy. Perfect for slow days. Seems to work as directed and was easy to set up. The touch screen function is tricky. Had a little trouble with that but otherwise, it works fine.

I am an Apple guy through and through, however I needed a windows laptop to use a tuning app for my vehicles that is only supported by Windows. For what I need it for, this laptop is perfect. Besides that, it’s good for browsing the web. I wouldn’t recommend using it for much more than that. It does not have much memory and the screen isn’t the clearest. But again, if you need a basic Windows laptop, you can’t go wrong with this at this price point. It was painfully slow when I booted it up for the first time, but it seems that once it updated and loaded everything it needed to, it’s reasonably quick as long as you don’t over burden it with tasks.

Buyer beware, this thing comes with S mode and you can’t disable it without a Microsoft account*. After an hour of work I was able get around setting up an account, just search “disable S mode windows 11 without account”. But seriously, what a PITA just so I can download essential software that isn’t found in the app store! Why not just get a Microsoft account? Well, I have non-nefarious reasons that I won’t clog up the review with. Anyway S mode is obnoxious in many other ways too and it’s clear that Microsoft is really trying hard to corral users towards certain kinds of use instead of using these machines for their own purposes. Boo Microsoft. But now that I’ve got things the way I like it, great machine so far. The key font is kind of ugly and I wish the trackpad had buttons too, but it was cheap! Wish it had a USB c charger.
