Our littles just started school and food has been a fight and a chore. Since we got this book, we spend some time at the beginning of the week picking out food choices and recipes with our kiddos. The pictures are fantastic for littles, and all the choices are well balanced! Happy to have this in our house!

I love this book! I can’t tell you how many toddler cookbooks I have sitting, unused, on my bookshelf. Not this one – first of all, I loved that there are no recipes. My kids thumb through it and choose what they like, based on the beautiful and bright pictures. Then, I just put it together, neatly organized, ready for lunch (or, frankly, dinner). Meal prep has become a collaboration, which means lunchboxes come home empty. Thank you!

Pre-ordered this inspo book weeks ago and was thrilled when it arrived in the mail – it did not disappoint! It’s a treasure trove of simultaneously simple yet brilliant ideas. I wish I’d had this 10+ years ago when I felt completely lost when it was time to pack lunches for our little preschooler. We’re not even packing school lunches anymore, but knew this would be a great source of inspiration for healthy snacks, small meals for long nights at dance, etc. Can’t say enough good things about the text, the imagery, the variations, etc – this book definitely fills a void for busy parents.

I really like this inspo book for the following reasons:- The pictures are lovely and great for kids. My daughter looked through this with me and marked lunches she thought looked good.- It’s so practical. The lunch ideas are realistic and don’t have specialized ingredients. They are also easy for kids to prep! My my toddler and kindergartener are able to help prepare their own lunches.- It’s so nice to have variations on a basical, go-to lunch as well ideas for “deconstructing” meals to make them packable lunches. My kindergartener is still learning to like some foods so this is a great option for her to be exposed to new things that feels safe to her. Also, I think the highest recommendation to be offered is that my kids are both actually eating the lunches that are packed.

I already love the book so much after just one day. First off, the images are beautiful, and my 4yo immediately saw it on our kitchen table and started pointing at pictures he liked. The text is written without judgment and with love for families everywhere. Also I really appreciate seeing all the different container ideas and the practical info on safety and cafeteria tips etc. I’ve already ordered some new foods based on the snack section and have post-its throughout the pages so I can shop more this weekend. Love that there are no actual recipes. I am SO thrilled I came across the Feeding Littles instagram and this wonderful book!

As a long-time Feeding Littles follower, I preordered this book back in March and it was well worth the wait. In a world where social media has convinced us that every lunchbox needs to be a completely homemade, Pinterest-perfect, culinary masterpiece, it is SO refreshing to have “I can’t even” (as Megan and Judy lovingly call it) options that are still healthy and balanced. As a busy working mom who often suffers from decision fatigue, it is SO nice to have one less thing on my mental plate. My 3-year-old is a selective eater, we follow a vegetarian diet, and her school is nut-free, so packing lunches can be tricky, but every single lunchbox in the book contains meatless, allergen-friendly, AND picky-eater-approved alternatives, which I am so grateful for. The photos are also beautiful and make it easy for my toddler to choose the lunches that are most appealing to her. I also love that many of the lunches use packaged and premade foods (which can of course be substituted for a homemade version if desired). As a household that does rely on packaged options for many snacks and meals, it is validating to know that they can still be part of a nutritious lunchbox. Overall, this book is amazing and makes packing lunches feel doable and even FUN! I may even be copying some of these ideas for my own work lunchbox!

This book is not only full of helpful and applicable information – it’s beautiful and inspiring! In a world of so many decisions, this book takes away some mental stress for planning lunches. The content is easy to follow, simple to apply and realistic for the everyday caregiver. The message behind the inspiration behind Feeding Littles is pure and heartfelt. The pictures are engaging and encourage collaboration between my child and I as we plan lunches for the week. I cannot emphasize enough how applicable these lunches are – love the ease of planning/preparation. Congratulations to Megan, Judy and the Feeding Littles team – this is a resource caregivers and children will truly benefit from. I highly recommend this purchase for anyone who eats food.

This book could not have arrived at a more perfect time. Back to school soon and already dreading the same 3 lunches on repeat. I’m tired of making them, my kids are tired of eating them. This book provides simple, creative ideas in a beautiful easy to read format. The pictures are stunning and my kids were thrilled to flip through and “order” their lunches for the first week of school. The thorough thinking shared in the beginning about how and what to pack makes this book a tool we will be using weekly. Best of all, I am already thinking about how I can easily use the same plans for myself so I can finally start eating a real lunch instead of snacking because I was too burned out to care. This book is the perfect start to our year!
