Had a long cable run in a three floor house. Seven lines to test to find the correct run. It saved me time and considerable number of steps. Made short work of what was needed. Very happy with this tool. Reasonable price.

I didn’t find the instructions very helpful, but once I got it figured out, it worked amazing. It doesn’t have a case, and there are loose pieces, so be advised of that.

I used this to trace coax from each room to a network box with a spaghetti mess of cable. This helped me find which cable went to which room.

Worked great, used it from tracing coax cable on 43’ motor home have Over the air, Satelite and regular cable runs, so tracing and labeling this stuff it worked perfect. Will I ever use it again who knows.

I am so happy that I found this. I just bought a new house and all of the coax lines going to my basement were disconnected. This made it so simple to find out which line went to where, and I was able to connect everything back up, properly. Highly recommend!

The hard core of good antenna cables can break if folded too hard. Confirming connection is good before closing up the wall is well worth it ( coming from somebody that didn’t and later learned from the Comcast guy when the internet wouldn’t work. This tester is easy to use and works perfectly.PS. AAA battery required and not included

Needed to trace a coaxial cable in a Motorhome to find which was for the TV. Took less time to find it than it did to type this! It worked Perfectly!👍👍

Bought this so I could trace a bunch of coax cables in my basement to their appropriate location upstairs. The power provided by the AAA battery seems like it isn’t strong enough to go over any great distance. It worked about 75% of the time and half the time there was no audible sound just a very light flicker of the light. Works but if you have any real distance to cover, you might want to purchase something with more power.

This was exactly what I needed as I tried to find which cable was feeding my living room from the outside box. Does exactly what it said it would do and made the job much easier for me.

It is a must have tool if you are troubleshooting coax cable. Plus at a great price

Great tool to have if you work on coax cables

Thorne –
Easy to use and it works as you would expect. If the cable run is under about 30ft the tone is quite strong. Runs over 30, it gets weaker.

cabling mess in my new house. I recently moved into a new-to-me house… there were cable hookups literally in every room. Everything routed to a panel in a closet… and were mislabeled. This tool was the only way to sort it all out. Be aware you need your own AAA battery. Otherwise, a great product. ‘Works as advertised.

. I have a a new built home. Every room has a coax outlet. Ordered Cable TV but couldn’t get the receivers to work. The POS Home builders ran cable to all the rooms but never attached any of the coax ends and the receptacles weren’t even attached to the cables. This tool made it so easy mapping out the cable connection to the main hub where the cables all meet. Voila!

find your video cables!. I have several video cables in my house that were not marked. In order to hook up TV’s in the bedrooms I had to find what cable went where. This little tool is so easy to use. Put the toner (the small silver part) on the video connector in the wall, then take the blue end that looks like a pen and plug it into the other end of cables till you find the one that beeps. Very easy to use!

works great. Relatively inexpensive. Recommend purchasing. On another note. Why should I pay for prime if Amazon can’t rely on USPS. Waste of time and money to use them. They are never on time, always deliver the product days late. Seriously contemplating stopping prime.

I found it. I like that this cable chaser has a nice loud tone that I don’t have to strain to hear. Helped me alot while chasing wires on security cameras.
