Jake –
I’ve owned this unit for a few months and so far, it’s great. I keep it charged, and take it out backpacking/paddle camping, and even use it in the car, too – as it charges my phone faster than my car plug charger. I hope it maintains its quality over time.

I bought 2 of these, white and black for my husband and myself for a trip to Europe. I originally had (still have) a Clutch charger which is great for emergencies but we needed something more powerful. Where the Clutch charger gets very hot, these did not, and they were both easy to charge and did a great job of charging our phones. I have an android and my husband has an iPhone so it was a bit of a challenge to make sure we had the correct cables. While they are heavier than the Clutch and they don’t fit in a wallet, I was able to keep mine side by side w my phone in my travel purse. All all in all we definitely would recommend these chargers.

Does exactly what itbwas designed to do. I can a good two 0-100% from this charger on my Galaxy S23. I normally recharge when my phone hits about 30% and this battery pack will recharge 3 to 4 times. My only gripe is the cable that comes with the Anker adds a good 1.5-2″ to the already long Anker. I always feel like I will damage the input if I bang it on something or place too much pressure on it. Other than that for the cost it’s a bargain.

I bought this thing a little while ago now and hadn’t yet run into a moment where I had to use it, but I’m thankful to have bought it when I finally needed it. It takes a while to charge the first time, but it holds that charge for a long time. It’s super portable and makes it easy to just put it in your purse or bag plugged into your phone and forget about it. A little heavy and roughly the size of my phone (Galaxy Note 9 for reference). It feels solidly constructed. It doesn’t support fast charging, but it’s not slow either. I highly recommend this, especially for people with older phones, students, and travelers. Even if that isn’t you, it’s great in case of an emergency or power outage because of how long it stays charged.

I have yet to fully drain this thing in a day of hard use or travel. The bank typically only depletes halfway in that time. It’s also relatively flat so it fits comfortably enough in men’s cargo shorts and doesn’t get hot enough to burn. I’m able to fully charge this power bank overnight vs. some other ones that take far longer. For reference, I have a phone that’s a few generations old and use this when I spend most of my day outside (full sunlight, so brightness all the way up). I’m actively using my phone’s GPS, download/uploading files, touchscreen, and sometimes camera. The only thing I’d want it to have is maybe a groove in the body of the design so you can wrap a power cord around it when not in use.

It’s a decent power bank for the price for sure, and while I haven’t used it yet, the build quality seems good. However. There is no included instruction manual despite the safety sheet being included (which is required I’m sure), instead the safety sheet has a QR code to go to the manual. I have no real issues with this except I usually ignore the safety sheet.I attempted to charge the bank all day and noticed it didn’t increase at all in charge. Extremely weird. So I found the safety sheet after retrieving it from the trash, looked at the manual and noticed an oddity; the instructions for charging shows a usb-a to usb-c/micro-usb cable. I was using a usb-c to usb-c cable. I also came to the reviews to find some people saying the usb-c is output only (this is false) and they had to use the micro-usb so first I tested a usb-a to micro-usb cable and just like that it worked. But the instructions state that it charges at lower amperage using micro-usb so I wanted to test a usb-a to usb-c cable, and sure enough that worked as well. It’s bonkers to me that it not only doesn’t fast charge, but it outright refuses to charge unless it’s a 5V usb-a to usb-c/micro-usb cable. In a world where micro-usb is on the way out the door, and usb-c to usb-c is used a lot more due to fast charging and it’s just a better interface. None of this should prevent you from buying this, however, as they give you an appropriate cable to charge with and it’s good for what you pay for. I’ve always found Anker products to be respectable as I’ve never had to replace them. I just wish this charged faster and didn’t have this weird restriction on it for charging.Should I have any use problems I’ll be sure to update this or repost it or what-have-you. But I very much doubt that’ll be necessary.
