This tape just works better than generic electricians tape for my application weatherproofing coax connections. It stretches and conforms to shape better and it sticks better. I will try using generic tape on top of this as an additional expendable UV protection.

You can’t go wrong with this tape. Flexible enough and long lasting. Very durable. Among the many other applications, I use it on my solenoid wire connections (around the wire nuts) in the sprinkler boxes around my yard. Often the boxes flood with water and also freeze every winter. After years in this harsh environment the tape mostly remains supple and sometimes feels like new when I have to service a sprinkler valve. Quality tape.

Been an electrical geek most of my personal life and professional life. Super 33+ is, in my opinion , the most versatile electrical tape. Super stretchy and super adhesive. Great durability and heat resistance too. Does leave horrible residue though.

Mike –
Good quality electrical tape but a bit expensive .Still worth the money and safer to use than the cheap tapes that dry up in time and come off the wires . Recommended .

Off-brand electrical tape just won’t cut it for some projects. Gotta keep some 3M around.

My opinion about this product –
I’ve tried other brands and yes they are cheaper BUT YOU YSE TWICE AS MUCH TO WRAP AND KEEP WIRES TOGETHER, the environment heat/ Cold and humidity and it in unwrapsStop being cheap go back to the brand that has always been the best and not worry about your electrical work that you completed it’s was done with a tape that will not degrade PERIOD
My opinion about this product –

rolls are noticeably smaller and more expensive. Rolls used to be almost the same size as their container. Now they look half that size. Won’t recommend or buy again…..

It’s stickier than your average cheap electrical tape which is nice bc it won’t get undone easily over time.

This stuff is great and the only electrical tape I buy. It works great for it’s intended purpose but also works great for the 300 other things I have used it for. It just sticks better than any other electrical tape I have ever used

While I can use this tape for electrical purposes for which the mfr intends, I had a different purpose.I have a wooden espresso porta filter handle that’s brown and clashes with the black knobs. I wrapped the handle with this tape and it looks really nice. The tape has a nice sheen to it. Not too much or too little adhesive.I had tried to redo the handle that I’d done a year ago with the tape I had on hand and it just had so much adhesive gunk that it was unacceptable. I pulled all the old tape off and rewrapped it with this new tape. Only took a minute or so and looks nice. If I ever have to re-do it in time I have enough tape for that and a lot more. It’s a premium tape and more expensive than other electrical tape. But it all comes down to what you need it for.

isn’t using super 33+ then find a better electrician… Super 33+ is far and away the best electrical tape that money can buy. I have been using it since the late 80’s and I won’t use anything else, because nothing else even compares to it. It’s flexibility, weather resistance, adhesion, trarability etc. everything that matters when using electrical tape is fulfilled by Super 33+.

. I’ll keep it short and sweet, this is the best electrical tape you can buy. Extremely stretchy with strong adhesive that holds at high speeds on my motorcycle.

atures indoors and outdoors. Has just the right amount of stretch to allow tight wrapping without tearing or breaking. 3M products never disappoint in my experience. Worth the price.

trical Tape. If your looking for this tape it’s likely your a pro and know what your looking for already. If your not a pro and happen to be looking for electrical tape and wonder why you can get a bunch of rolls of the Chinese stuff for the same price as one roll of this this stuff… Trust me when I say you get what you pay for.

Maurice Lafferty –
e. Most electrical tape looks the same but isn’t. The difference is in the adhesive. The adhesive on cheaper tapes doesn’t stick well even when new and that tape may be useless in six months or a year. Worse, cheap tape may lose its stickiness over time and start peeling off in several years which can be dangerous. I have found 3M’s Super 33 to create a firmer bond with itself when wrapped around a connection and resists drying out and curling at the end for as long as I have used it.
